Aqib Talib shooting details are coming in, and they’re confusing
The Denver Broncos say star cornerback Aqib Talib is recovering after being shot in the leg at a Dallas nightclub.

Talib will most definitely miss minicamp on Tuesday, but is expected to be ready for pre-season preparations.
According to Mike Klis of 9News, Talib told friends that he accidentally shot himself in the leg.
“Everything was a blur and I was too intoxicated to remember what happened”, Talib told police. A police report states an unknown suspect shot Talib, but the location of the incident has not been confirmed.
Talib, a Texas native, was released from a Dallas hospital on Monday, and the Broncos described his injury as not serious.
Talib had been due to travel with his team to the White House on Monday to meet Barack Obama in a ceremony honoring the Broncos’ Super Bowl win earlier this year.
Then Lopez, citing the police report, reported the bullet that hit Talib entered through rear of his right thigh and exited out his right calf.
It appears that the league will be getting in touch with others in search of more information about what happened in Dallas early Sunday morning.
The Denver Broncos expect cornerback Aqib Talib to be at the team headquarters Wednesday, three days after being shot.
If Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib carried a gun into a night club, he may have violated a Texas law that went into effect January 1. The police are still investigating. Talib got stitches, no surgery.
“Talib was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in 2011 after he and his mother were accused of shooting at his sister”s boyfriend during a domestic dispute in Garland.

He has recently been suspended for actions on the field and has also been involved in multiple gun-related incidents off of the field, as recently as April of a year ago. But the felony charge was later dropped.
