The initial date for this year’s celebration, which takes place after pilgrims to the holy land of Mecca in Saudi Arabia descend from Mount Arafat, was September 23.
Eid al Adha will be celebrated in Mardan, Kohat, Bannu, Malakund and Waziristan areas.
The feast falls on the 10th of the lunar month of Dhul Hijja, or pilgrimage month, which will start Tuesday, according to Saudi religious authorities.
Government on Monday shaved two days from the upcoming Eid holidays by announcing that September 20, 21, 22 will no longer be public holidays.
Every able-bodied adult Muslim – who can financially afford the trip – must perform hajj once in their lifetime.
When Eid itself begins, the Qatar Tourism Authority said it will hold a five-day festival that includes entertainment and cultural shows and events at Katara Cultural Village, Souq Waqif and the malls.
Other astronomers in Kuwait said they expected Eid Al Adha to be on September 23.
