Arby’s Thanks Jon Stewart For Years Of Abuse ‘On The Daily Show’
Tonight, Jon Stewart will pitch his last inning as host of liberal staple “The Daily Show”. He began not as a journalist but as a stand-up comedian, and his program is, after all, on Comedy Central. Stewart’s brand of fake news thrived in that vacuum, and turned him into one of the nation’s most bracing cultural, political and media critics.

But for much of his 16-year reign on “The Daily Show“, Stewart has been even more – a commentator whose opinions, however laced with humor, were taken seriously by Congress members and presidents. Like talks about the Mets on the show and has Matt Harvey as a guest big.
Young feels American politicians have not seen the last of Stewart, although he has given no details of his future plans. One key is the broad audience Stewart has assembled. Noah is an eloquent and talented comedian, and whether his comments reflect his true feelings or those of a man attempting to step into Stewart’s shoes, I couldn’t say. Grandparents who watched “The Daily Show” will still see authors getting interviewed by Charlie Rose. “But you know, I’m also in a different age demographic”.
What a way for Jon Stewart to go out.
Ad buyers, meanwhile, told the paper that a 30-second spot for The Daily Show finale Thursday cost roughly $230,000, a package deal that included an agreement to purchase spots on other Viacom-owned channels.
Before the “Daily Show” appearance, he had fallen back to number 200. I think he will change the forum that he uses to scratch that itch.
Jon Stewart wasn’t alone.

Past victims of “laser-guided satire” were Islamic terrorist group ISIS, racism, Fox News, Wall Street and the fast-food chain Arby’s. “The world is demonstrably worse than when I started – have I caused this?” he pondered. After Sanchez lashed out in response on a radio show, calling Stewart a “bigot” and mocking the idea that Jewish people could be a minority when “everybody who runs CNN is a lot like Stewart”.
