“Archangel Michael” – Wyoming authorities release content of statewide bomb threat
Eastern Wyoming College received a statewide announcement to state facilities and schools regarding an anonymous threat now under investigation.

He said BOCES sent everyone home, but other local schools and government agencies are still open. He did say, however, that EPD is following appropriate protocol and “beefing up certain areas”.
“(Cheyenne, Wyo.) – This morning, the Wyoming Office of Homeland Security received notice of an anonymous email with threats made against state facilities, schools statewide and the Cheyenne Regional Airport.
“Although we are not aware of any specific threat involving any of Western’s locations, we felt that the appropriate action was to close our locations and await further word from the State”, said Dr. Philip Parnell, Vice President for Student Success Services.
By 1:15 p.m., Albany County Sheriff Dave O’Malley determined the threat had been vetted and deemed less than credible.
Schools throughout the county, Western Wyoming Community College, and other public buildings and entities have been evacuated or are otherwise following their official protocols. She couldn’t get any information, so she told her husband, who called us.
Campbell County schools and Gillette College remained open.
“Casper College received a statewide announcement to state facilities and schools regarding an anonymous threat now under investigation. We will remain in contact with law enforcement until the matter is resolved”.
Colleges and government buildings across Wyoming were the target of a bomb threat Thursday.
Northwest College posted this statement on its website: “Late this morning, a bomb threat for schools and governmental buildings statewide was received”.

All scheduled classes and on-campus activities at Eastern Wyoming College were cancelled and the school closed for the day. Check back for updates.
