Pope Francis arrived in the United States with both Catholic and non-Catholic Americans showing they have a favourable view of the world’s iconic Christian leader.

Pope Francis arrived in the United States Tuesday afternoon, beginning a six-day visit spanning three cities.

“His willingness to say what he believes and to live out those values have deeply inspired a lot of people, including many non-Catholics”, Earnest said of the pope.

The Pope said he “may have given the impression of being a little more to the left, but it would not be a correct interpretation”. At the capitol, preps are being made for the pope’s joint address to Congress; a first for any pope.

“Grant we pray, that as we receive Francis our Pope in our country today, we may acknowledge the blessings and goodness that you have given us”, prayed the presiding priest during mass. He will then hold the first-ever canonization Mass on USA soil in Washington D.C.at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. He rolled down his window despite the tight security surrounding him for his visit.

“We may see some tense moments, especially when he talks on Capitol Hill because he may be saying some things that cause tensions”, Reid said. However, he had greeted all those invited to meet him on the steps of Havana Cathedral – who may have included dissidents.

When the Pope encouraged Catholics to take care of God’s creation, St. Eugene’s Catholic Church began installing solar panels on their roof. Speaking in Spanish and Italian, he responded to the question about his liberal image while traveling from Cuba to Washington, D.C. The pope is known to have played a key role in the U.S.-Cuba normalization of relations.
