Are Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump Healthy Enough to be President?
Dr. Lisa Bardack in a new letter released by the campaign, contended that although Clinton raised concerns following a near collapse earlier this week, she “has remained healthy and has not developed new medical conditions” aside from the pneumonia she was recently diagnosed with and a sinus and ear infection.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was recovering well after she was diagnosed with pneumonia last week, according to her campaign committee.
“We are pleased to disclose all of the test results which show that Mr Trump is in excellent health, and has the stamina to endure – uninterrupted – the rigours of a punishing and unprecedented presidential campaign and, more importantly, the singularly demanding job of president of the United States”, the campaign said. Clinton now takes a handful of medications, including for her thyroid, and Bardack said “she continues to remain healthy and fit to serve as president of the United States”.
Donald Trump leads Hillary Clinton by 5 points in a new Bloomberg Politics poll of OH, after a rough week for Clinton that raised more questions about her health. When Clinton returned home to NY, her doctor performed a CT scan, which revealed pneumonia.
Clinton had been resting for three days in her NY home and will return to the campaign trail Thursday. Yet he, too, has been circumspect about releasing details of her medical records.
The 68-year-old told the crowd at the rally on Thursday: “With just two months to go until Election Day, sitting at home was pretty much the last place I want to be”. Sounds pretty darn normal to us! “Mrs. Clinton has since been evaluated by me several times and continues to improve”.
The health details made public by the Democratic presidential nominee included a description of the pneumonia diagnosis Clinton received last week Friday.
Aside from an ongoing bout of pneumonia, Hillary Clinton is in good physical and mental condition, her doctor said in a new letter released Wednesday.
But during a recording of an episode of the “Dr. Oz Show” in NY that will air on Thursday, Trump gave host Dr. Mehmet Oz a summary of a physical exam conducted last week.
The Clinton campaign also released a letter from Tim Kaine’s doctor, Brian Monahan, who pronounced the vice-presidential nominee in “overall excellent health”.
A statement from the medical chat show said their hour-long one-on-one interview touched on Trump’s cardiovascular health, family medical history and history of cancer, among other topics.
If for some reason Donald Trump or Clinton were unable to serve their terms, voters say Trump’s running mate Indiana Gov. Mike Pence is more prepared to be president than Clinton’s running mate Sen.
