Are you ready for new iPhones? Apple rumors abuzz

Chris Breikss, the president of 6S Marketing, says the company knows it’s too late to change the name of the iPhone, but wanted to send a message in the most Canadian way possible. Apple first introduced this in its Apple Watch where the smaller screen warranted including this type of technology, but need is not so obvious on a smartphone with a much larger screen. 4K video…could fill…a 16GB iPhone 6S…in about 25 minutes…. ut I’m sure Apple will be happy to sell you more iCloud storage.

With the next iPhone on the horizon, rumours abound as to what the newest member of the Apple family will be called. It’s also the same event where the company showcased the Apple Watch past year.

The cornerstone of the 9/9 event will be the iPhone 6s and 6+s launches that should have the same form factors as the 6/6+ but with few material updates.

In less than a week Apple will unveil the new iPhone 6S in a media event on September 9. Apart from the subtle design changes, Oppenheimer believes Apple management will go into further details on the integration of Force Touch on the new OS, and also that contextual awareness improvements will be another focal point of the upgrade. Apple will use Force Touch to make a number of actions quicker and easier. It’s a strong candidate to be the benchmark feature in the widely anticipated iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. Pushing down more vigorously on a touchscreen or, in the case of the MacBook, touchpad, brings up other options, which in turn can expand the options Apple users have to interact with their apps.

The new hardware is expected to be a game-changer for Apple.

The new set-top box of Apple TV will be costlier than alternatives coming from Amazon and Google, but Apple will still continue selling current model at $69.
