Area around Trump Tower remains closed this morning
Roads near the Trump Tower will remain closed until late Tuesday afternoon while crews try to fix an unstable antenna on top of the 65-storey building.

A city engineer was brought in to talk to authorities, plus it had been discovered there was a potential security hazard.
It is not clear when the streets around the building will be reopened.
The property is part of the Trump Hotel Collection, a “prestigious portfolio” of luxury hotels “presided over by internationally renowned developer Donald J. Trump and his three grown children”, according to the hotel website.
The street was closed shortly after 8:30 a.m. ET, during the morning rush hour, and Toronto Police said on twitter that the street closure was due to an “unstable antenna”. It wasn’t opened until January 31.
“Talon’s technical specialist was quickly dispatched to the area, and found that the concerns were unsubstantiated”, the company said.
The mayor said he is concerned about the impact on traffic, and the city has told the building’s owners to ensure there is no risk to the public. “As soon as Talon has the final report, the police department will be notified”.
