La Juventus Football Club ha esercitato la clausola rescissoria per l’acquisizione delle prestazioni sportive di Gonzalo Gerardo Higuain.
The player has agreed a five-year contract with the club.
Despite his flaws, Giroud did have a productive season past year, scoring 16 goals with 6 assists in league matches, so it is not as if Arsenal are completely bare at striker.
Napoli striker, Gonzalo Higuain, has passed a medical at Juventus and is now free to join the club in a £78.7 million deal, according to a report.
Juventus were desperate to sign a new striker following Alvaro Morata’s return to Real Madrid and they have now landed their prime target in last season’s Serie A top scorer.
The 28-year-old’s purchase is behind that of Real Madrid duo of Cristiano Ronaldo (£80m from Manchester United) and Gareth Bale (£85m from Tottenham Hotspurs). Add his signing to that of Miralem Pjanic, and Juve have taken arguably Roma and Napoli’s best players this summer, further strengthening their expected domination in Italy.
Italy legend Francesco Totti has branded Gonzalo Higuain’s £75million transfer from Napoli to Juventus as a “disaster”.
After a breakthrough season with River Plate in Argentina, Higuain spent six and a half years at Real Madrid where he helped the Spanish giants to three La Liga titles and boosted his worldwide status.
