At tonights 2016 MTV VMAs, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj performed their collaboration “Side to Side” after Rihanna graced the stage and opened the video music award show.

Lately the singer and the rapper have been setting tongues wagging with some snuggly Snapchats and being by each other’s sides constantly – expect for the awards.
Later in the night, they stepped out hand in hand for an after party, looking loved up as they continued to confirm their romance.
The pop star hit the prizegiving red carpet solo on Sunday night, leading MTV pre-show host Charlamagne Tha God to inquire about Miller’s whereabouts. “It’s OK to be alone even when you have a boo”.
Speechless by his confidence in referencing the donut licking, a stunned Ariana managed to say: “Okay alright I’ll take notes”.
The Dangerous Woman hitmaker interacted with a number of male dancers who were in skintight unitards before the camera flashed to Nicki.
The hitmaker headed into the NY awards in a understated [for the MTV awards] but figure-highlighting look.
The off-the-shoulder top was basically just a strip of ruffled lace but the baggy pants created a balance so that it was stylish but still sexy.
Cameras caught the pair getting cozy in the audience after her performance of “Side to Side” with Nicki Minaj.
Host Charlamagne also poked fun at Ariana’s donut scandal from a year ago (15), when she was criticised for appearing to lick a sweet treat left atop a shop counter.

Minaj also took to Instagram to post about her head-turning look by designer Bao Tranchi, with a caption of an emoji of a winky face and a tongue sticking out.
