“Having Scooby out several weeks is something we’re going to have to deal with”, Rodriguez said.

Wright tied for the team lead in tackles (7) against the Bruins, but his performance was not almost as impactful as we’re used to seeing from the gifted linebacker. “(Arizona players) Jamar Allah and Anthony Lopez suffered foot sprains in camp, and they returned in a few weeks, and with the way Scooby attacks his rehab, hopefully we’ll have him back in a couple of weeks”. This season, nothing’s gone the Wright way. The game marked Wright’s return from a three-week absence after a meniscus injury in the Wildcats’ season opener. He returned to the field Saturday against UCLA but was mostly ineffective.

Rodriguez also said quarterback Anu Solomon is day-to-day after suffering a concussion against UCLA.
