Bradford was charged with four felony counts of aggravated assault and three counts of felony kidnapping.
Dugan said the police received a 911 call around 6:30 a.m. local time Wednesday regarding an alleged domestic violence incident.
When Bradford appeared in court, the victim spoke, saying that the 20-year-old should not be released on bond because he would be a threat to the public.
In a statement, Wildcats coach Rich Rodriguez said: “Earlier today, we were made aware that Orlando Bradford had been arrested”.
A sophomore, he was the No. 2 running back behind starter Nick Wilson. Bradford recorded five carries for 16 yards with no touchdowns this season.
