Armed man arrested in LA where Biden was due to speak

Biden will be joined at the event by Mayor Eric Garcetti and county Supervisor Sheila Kuehl, who led the push for the county minimum wage hike. It was not clear whether Biden was in the vicinity at the time.
The man was held in North Hollywood, near a business where Biden was to speak about raising the national minimum wage, said Los Angeles police spokesman Marlon Marrache.
Biden’s visit to the Bobrick plant was just one of his planned stops during his trip to California.
