His victim told police he asked her, “Do you want me to rape you or kill you?”
Around 1:30 a.m. on Monday, a 29-year-old woman asleep at her home near the corner of DeKalb and Wilson avenues in Bushwick awoke when she heard her door being opened, police reported.
They say the suspect sexually assaulted the woman and stole personal items from the home before leaving.
That’s when she saw a man – who she said was a stranger – holding a silver gun and approaching her, police say.
She was treated at Woodhull Hospital and later released, officials said.
The suspect is 34, about 6-feet tall and 195 pounds, police said.

Police have released a sketch and surveillance image of the suspect. The photo shows him entering a store dressed in a grey hoodie and running shoes.
