Strategy-based digital RPG, “Armello” has been set to launch on PS4 by the first of September, the game’s developer League of Geeks recently announced.

Set in a vibrant magical world with a tinge of darkness, Armello thrusts players into a Game of Thrones-esque struggle for power in epic single or multiplayer action.

The game is also scheduled to launch on Windows, Mac and Linux on the same date with two new playable characters made available in the final build: strong defense Barnaby from the Rabbit Clan, and stealthy Zosha from the Rat Clan. “It’s another way we’re delivering on the simple depth all great board tabletop experiences possess”.

According to League of Geeks, Zosha the Whisperer is a female member of the Rat Clan. She has the ability to outmaneuver her opponents and avoid stronger heroes so that everything is to her advantage.

Barnaby, the Screwloose, is a tinkerer with a multiple-item inventory he uses for swapping, and is an adaptable character ideal for multiple strategies. Both of these characters will be playable before the official release of Armello as they are being featured in the game’s PAX Prime demo.

There are already four existing heroes in “Armello”, and the two new characters will be added.

Armello is now available for Early Access on Steam but will be removed on July 31st until the actual release date.
