Army: 2 Palestinians dead after attacking Israeli forces

Israel says the violence is fanned by a Palestinian campaign of lies and incitement.

Palestinian medical sources said four people went to hospital with gunshot wounds after a clash that erupted during the raid, which the army said was intended “to arrest suspects and confiscate weapons”.

She also voiced deep concern over reports of excessive use of force by Israeli forces and added that all instances of the use of force resulting in death or injury by law enforcement officers should be the subject of prompt, independent and impartial investigations.
