General Raheel Sharif, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), visited Italy’s Army Headquarters on Tuesday and held meetings with Italy’s military leadership.

During the meeting between the two army chiefs, matters pertaining to military-to-military relations, cooperation, defence collaboration and training were discussed. He said Pakistan Army is one of the best armies in the world other countries can benefit from their expertise in war against terrorism, Bajwa tweeted.
The army chief also met Italian Chief of Defence Forces General Claudio Graziano and discussed with him issues of regional security and defence collaboration.
The army chief who is on an official visit to Italy, said during a speech in Centre of global Studies Rome that Pakistan had launched Operation Zarb-e-Azb to eliminate terrorism which was a global threat. General Sharif said enemies of Pakistan were carrying out acts of terrorism to destabilize it.
General Raheel said terrorists won’t be allowed to re-establish.
