The “healthy” and “constructive” thinking of this young man, Modi said, was inspiring for all to take the “nation to new heights”.
He also reiterated that the perpetrators of Uri terror will not be spared.
Islamabad has denied the allegation that the attack originated from its soil even as New Delhi says it has incriminating evidence to prove that the four attackers, who were killed in the Uri gunfight, belonged to the Jaish-e-Mohammed and had come from Pakistan. “The culprits will be punished for sure”.
The prime minister was specifically briefed on the ongoing operations in Jammu and Kashmir to “neutralise” suspected terrorists who are believed to have entered the Indian side in the run-up to the attack on September 18, in which 18 troopers lost their lives.
He added, “Army doesn’t speak but shows valour through its act”. Modi was said to have been given extensive briefing on intelligence about enemy movements and their plans, the sources said.

Pointing at the present unrest in Kashmir, he said the people of Kashmir want normalcy and that farmers there were anxious for their crops.
“The people of Kashmir have started to understand the anti-national forces clearly”.

“We all know that peace, unity and harmony are the ways to solve our problems and also to ensure our progress and development. We will together find the greatest path for the future generations of Kashmir”, he said, assuring the people of Kashmir that their security was the “responsibility of the administration”. Famers want their crop to reach markets across the country.
