Army should be felicitated for strikes not ministers: Mayawati
According to media reports, after a senior Pakistani police admitted to India’s surgical strike, Kejriwal tweeted that India should also expose Pakistan’s claims. “Does his silence mean that he trusts Pakistani media over Indian media?”

“Is it wrong to expect the Prime Minister or the central government to respond to such propaganda?” No country has criticized the surgical strikes done by the Indian army. “We should never believe what Pakistan media is trotting out”.
However, army and intelligence experts have disfavoured of sharing evidence. BJP national secretary Shrikant Sharma asked in a statement.
As the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader was leaving the home of a local leader after a condolence meeting, a man later identified as Dinesh Ojha accused Kejriwal of being an anti-national and attacked him with black ink. “He also alleged that India is getting isolated globally but perhaps he lives in a different world”.
“So the way the Indian soldiers have bravely gone into the territory of Pakistan and eliminated terrorists, in similar fashion, the PM or the Indian government should fight back the propaganda”, the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi said.
“Indian leaders are questioning the surgical strikes”.
Even BSP chief Mayawati, who had feared BJP might impose a war for electoral gain, treaded cautiously as she welcomed the surgical strikes, although she termed it a delayed move. “There can not be more painful and unfortunate thing”, he said.
While Kejriwal had called on Modi to release proof to counter what he said was “Pakistan’s propoganda”, several Pakistani channels added a spin to the story and reported that the CM challenged the Indian army’s version of events.
Pakistan has denied any surgical strike having taken place, claiming there was only cross-border firing, while the Indian Army say they possess video footage of the attack.

Garg claimed Pakistan was trying to turn Arab and European countries and the United Nations against India for conducting the surgical strikes.
