Quentin Lance, on the other hand, could bring a major blow to the show not just for Oliver, but for Laurel as well since she already lost her sister, Sarah in season 3 (Caity Lotz).

Aside from Diggle’s costume, Executive Producer Wendy Mericle hinted that Ray Palmer/The Atom (Brandon Routh) could return to the show before appearing in “Legends of Tomorrow”. This article will contain spoilers for the upcoming fourth season of the “Arrow”.

Arrow premieres on October 7th at 8 PM ET/PT on the CW here in the US.

According to Mericle, fans will be seeing a different side to Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), as he is at the happiest that he’s ever been. She explained that he will be returning to the series, despite his presumed death at the end of the last season.

Oliver Queen has earned himself an adjective!

“Every year, you want to mix things up, and there was sort of a collective desire on all of our parts to try to inject a little bit more lightness into the show, a little bit more humor”, said Guggenheim to io9. The role will be played by Echo Kellum and it will be Curtis Holt’s version of Mr. Terrific.

She also mentioned that the birth of the villain Anarky, or Lonnie Machin (Alexander Clavert) will be an interesting one, as he had been pushed into the dark side by both Oliver and Thea, also opposing Team Arrow, and towards the season’s big villain, Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough). That includes Diggle in his new helmet, which in the trailer includes a visor over the cut-away hole that makes it look more high-tech motorcycle helmet and less Magneto-rip-off, plus quick shots of Black Canary and Speedy. It’s in this spot that fans can watch a change that has been long-rumored for the DC Comics series: Oliver Queen announces that he has now become the Green Arrow! He pointed out that the costume was made from S.T.A.R. Labs, ComicBookResources reported.
