Arsenal and Wenger’s brilliant new tactics – Pick odd team and be LUCKY
Arsenal recovered from a nightmare start to salvage a 1-1 draw at Paris Saint-Germain after Alexis Sanchez scored a late equalizer in their Champions League opener on Tuesday.

Arsenal is back in action on Saturday, travelling to the KCOM Stadium to play Hull City. “It’s down to performances and on what he has delivered tonight he has the right to claim to play in the next Champions League game”.
The entire Arsenal fanbase went into a meltdown when it was announced that Arsene Wenger had opted to start The Gunners’ Champion League campaign with David Ospina in between the sticks for the second consecutive season.
“You know, I have two world-class goalkeepers, I will repeat that”, he said.
Plenty of eyebrows were raised when Ospina replaced Cech in goal for last night’s game, but Wenger appears to feel a sense of vindication, saying he has two world class goalkeepers at his disposal.
The goal was PSG s quickest ever in the Champions League, but the French champions, and Cavani in particular, were guilty of failing to convert a succession of golden opportunities. “The players did well in terms of the football we were asking them to play”.
“We knew this would be a tough match with so many great players on the pitch”, the keeper said. He creates a lot of chances and we will win with him. “Mentally, we stayed in the game”, Wenger told beIN Sport.
The Chilean worldwide started the game as Arsenal’s central striker but looked much more comfortable when shifted to the flank after Giroud was substituted onto the pitch.
“As I said before, I think we played a great game but we have to be better in front of goal”. He missed three more highly presentable chances later, and looked uncertain, bereft of confidence and close to an active liability to his team. Could they reprise it in Europe in what might be Wenger’s last season?

Both Wenger and Emery seemed satisfied with their respective performances after the final whistle, but there was very little in Paris to suggest either team are serious contenders for the top prize.
