Arsenal are too big for Howe, says Parlour
Injury-plagued midfielder Wilshere came on for the final 30 minutes of the match, after choosing the Cherries for his loan spell from Arsenal – over seven-time European champions AC Milan.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger talked this week of a new deal for Wilshere, perhaps at Christmas, and even spoke of the midfielder as a future Gunners manager.
‘I don’t really want to talk about that at the moment, ‘ said Wilshere, who came on to a standing ovation in the 62nd minute before Callum Wilson netted the victor 18 minutes later. “I’ve come here and I just want to get as many games as possible”. It’s similar to the way I am used to playing at Arsenal.
Eventually the goal came 10 minutes from time when the excellent Adam Smith played a low cross in and Callum Wilson backheeled the ball home for his first goal in nearly a year and a deserved Bournemouth win.
And his bright cameo helped Bournemouth to a first win of the season thanks to Callum Wilson’s 79th-minute strike. The next target is for Wilshere to complete a full Premier League game for the first time in two years although that could take some time.
“I’ve missed nearly 18 months of football and I haven’t played in the Premier League week in and week out for a good time”.
“When I came here before the match there was a great reception and I am grateful for that because I think as a player you need to feel welcomed, it gives you confidence”. I don’t know really (when I’ll be back to my best), it’s a tough question. I miss the Premier League.
Howe describes himself as “a training ground manager” exactly what Wilshere feels he needs at this stage of his career. For West Brom manager Tony Pulis, however, defeat drew only heavy criticism from the visiting supporters and underlined the club is in a period of stagnation before the takeover of the club by Chinese businessman Guochuan Lai.

“I wanted to stay in the Premier League”. “You’ve seen today we needed to bring other players in and we’ve not been able to do that, for all sorts of reasons”.
