Arsenal boss welcomes competition for places ahead of Chelsea clash

Chelsea are now 5th in the PL and will have their work cut out against 4th place Arsenal, who have scored 8 goals in their last two matches with commanding wins against Hull City in the Premier League and also a 4-1 win against Nottingham Forrest in the EFL Cup Third Round.

The most notable of clashes came when the Arsenal boss aimed a dig at Mourinho for playing down the Blues’ chances of winning the Premier League during the 2013-14 season for “fear to fail”.

“They are flat-track bullies but don’t really turn it on against the big teams and could be eight points off the top if they lose and City win”.

“I give the slight advantage to Arsenal because they’re at home but it is one of those situations whereby, come 7pm on Saturday night, we will know what kind of season they will have. He managed to get the players in the end”.

He told me in an email: ‘Mister Wenger wants Cech and he thinks about money.he is wrong! Mustafi looks strong at the back and will prove to be vital in what we can hope to be a stronger and more disciplined back line, whilst Lucas Perez will be looking to be the striker Arsenal fans have been hoping for. Hopefully Freddie has a good insight of what this team is capable this season and with the right balance, I think Arsenal could certainly push onto competing all season long, in what will be a very hard fought campaign.
