Arsenal coach Wenger willing to take blame for Sanchez injury
Cazorla’s issue adds further concerns to Arsenal’s season, as he joins Francis Coquelin on the Gunners long-term absentee list, whilst Arsenal’s overall injured continent now stands at 10 players.

“I don’t know when they (Cazorla and Sanchez) come back”.
Wenger was quick to justify Sanchez’s inclusion against Norwich last weekend, despite saying he was keen to give the Chile star a rest.
Arsenal’s injury crisis in midfield deepened after Santi Cazorla damaged ligaments in his left knee and could be out for up to four months. He had all the medical science (saying it was okay for him) to play before the game.
Those injuries to important performers have threatened to seriously derail their title challenge this season, but Wenger says they still have the chance to prove their potential as champions.
I had a chat with Sanchez after the game.
Cazorla picked up a knee injury during last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Norwich City – with Wenger subsequently admitting that the Spain worldwide finished the game at Carrow Road “on one leg” as the problem got worse as the game wore on.
Laurent Koscielny (hip) had to be substituted at Norwich, but could feature against the Black Cats.
He also said that listening to players was something all managers have to do but it can only be used to help them make the right decisions, the final buck stopping with them.
“Your phone is busy every day with people proposing players, That’s an aspect where we have a team to select what’s coming in and what we see”.
“That s why it s important that we keep our confidence high and our determination high, and start winning again”.
“I am not expert enough, but if you want to blame me, no problems”.

The Gunners boss was pressed on Sanchez and Cazorla, but claims he is still in the dark over when the duo will return.
