Arsenal defeat will not stall Leicester’s season’

Leicester City captain kipper Wes Morgan is confident that the Foxes will leave behind their damaging defeat to Arsenal and get their Premier League title challenge back on track.

Danny Welbeck subsequently scored a last-minute victor to set Arsenal two points off the pace with 12 games remaining.

Arsenal’s victory over the Foxes’ 10 men, with Theo Walcott cancelling out Jamie Vardy’s opener, was the first time they had come from behind to win since the last meeting between the sides in September.

England worldwide Welbeck had not kicked a ball for the Gunners in 10 months but returned with an instant impact as he glanced home an stoppage-time victor to beat the Barclays Premier League leaders.

Wenger pointed to the character and determination shown by his side, stating that “in the end the fact that we refused to draw, that we gave absolutely everything and took all the risks paid off against a very good Leicester side”.

“To find yourself down 1-0 at half-time against a team that defend so well, you have to keep going in your head”. I don’t know if he took the lads out for a drink after we won games, but I don’t care either. We had a lot of long-term injuries and that’s what gave us a bit of struggle in January because we played in December and then January with nearly the same team.

“We are happy to have Danny back now and a few others not far off, so there’s more coming from them”.

It is a disappointing situation for Kramaric, who turned down interest from Premier League champions Chelsea when he signed for Leicester from Rijeka for £7 million in January a year ago. We hope that we stay focused on ourselves because how we defended in the first half was good.

Leicester will count themselves unlucky to have suffered a defeat against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon as they saw Danny Welbeck rise highest to nod home the winning goal in the 94th minute.

“It will strengthen our belief that we are in the fight”.

The referee was at the heart of things once again in the second half as he sent Danny Simpson off for two fouls worthy of yellow cards within five minutes. I have a dream, but I won’t tell you which dream it is!

“I am sure that at 11 v 11, we win the match”.

“I said well done to my team, they put in a fantastic performance like I want and we lost the match in the last second”.
