Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has revealed he could allow the 21-year-old England global leave the Emirates Stadium on a temporary basis before the transfer window closes on August 31.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A club are ready to take a chance on the former Saints man, while the Daily Mirror report that Hull and Middlesbrough are amongst the Premier League clubs to show an interest.

However, since then Arsene Wenger has retained Holding in the starting lineup next to Laurent Koscielny, and with Gabriel Paulista and Per Mertesacker to return from injury, along with the impending arrival of £35m German worldwide Shkodran Mustafi, chances for Chambers would have been few and far between this season.
