Arsenal fans are convinced they’ll win the league with Jamie Vardy
Given Vardy tallied 24 goals a year ago and helped Leicester win the title, his addition would undoubtedly be a major boost for the Gunners who were forced to settle for a second-placed finish despite being tipped to end their long wait for a league title with many of their usual rivals struggling.

Olivier Giroud claims to have been told that Jamie Vardy wants to join Arsenal from champions Leicester in a £20m move.
When Italian newspaper Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport questioned Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri on the emerging transfer news, and whether Arsenal had made a bid for their star striker, the Italian conceded that it was “all true.”
Should they complete the deal, the 29-year-old striker would join £30m Granit Xhaka on Arsenal’s list of new arrivals this summer and likely take their total spend over the £50m mark.
And Giroud, now Arsenal’s first-choice forward, expects to see another striker to follow Vardy as Danny Welbeck looks to miss the majority of next season with a knee injury. “I think we can be complimentary and that’s all I can say”, Giroud told Sky Sports News.
But it appears Ranieri, one of the catalysts for a remarkable run of scoring form from Vardy that included a Premier League record streak of 11 games with a goal, has acknowledged that a deal is in the works.
Arsenal are looking to speed up a move for Vardy before Euro 2016 starts next week and have scheduled a medical for Vardy before the player flies to France on Monday for the tournament.
Arsenal fans are very accustomed to having very frustrating transfer windows, but now it seems that after last seasons weak capitulation to Leicester in the title race, Arsene Wenger is going all out to beef up the team in important areas by stealing players from the Foxes.
