The result leaves Arsenal eight points behind leaders Chelsea.

With Arsenal a long way behind Chelsea in the title race and the future of Wenger unclear, it is no surprise the player is considering his options, says Mark Ogden of ESPN.

Despite claims to the contrary, Arsene Wenger would be wise to capitalize on prices he can get for his two superstars now.

“You have to carry on, get ready and there are a lot of games to be played”, Cech said.

“Swansea were very well organised and they closed down as a unit very well”.

Speaking at his post-match news conference, Wenger replied when asked about Sanchez’s reaction to being substituted: “All the players are frustrated when they come off, some show it, some not”.

Arsenal struggled to put their opponents under any pressure before taking the lead after 37 minutes.

Arsenal return to action at home to Burnley on Sunday (2.15pm) on the back of a thumping 4-0 victory over relegation candidates Swansea.

Tottenham and Arsenal have moved into the top three of the Premier League on Saturday with easy 4-0 wins. Olivier Giroud, who has scored in his last four matches, could be the man to watch.

He added; “We had some problems getting going, but I put that down to the fact that Swansea played very well in the the first half. He had an ankle injury after 30-35 minutes and got to 60 minutes”, he said, as quoted by BBC Sport.

“I definitely feel like an important player, and my team-mates let me know every day”, he told Arsenal’s YouTube channel. “We were 3-0 down at Bournemouth and we came back, so that’s seven goals in our last two away games, and on top of that we didn’t concede today, so that’s good for the confidence of the defenders”. I want to win a title here for the fans.

Yet, they should have had a penalty when Laurent Koscielny’s outstretched foot upended Ki Sung-Yueng, but instead referee Mike Jones booked Ki for diving.
