Arsenal Fined 18 Million Naira For Breaching FA Regulations
“Alan Middleton has also been warned as to his future conduct and sanctioned for breaching the FA’s football agent regulations in relation to the same matter”, the FA added.

The main breach of the FA rules happened due to the fact that a major part of the dealings and transactions of the Chambers deal was conducted by Philip Ercolano, who is not licensed agent.
He then moved into the world of sports management and although he failed the FA’s Football Agent’s exam, he was widely thought to represent Calum Chambers when the youngster was at Southampton.
The agent, Alan Middleton, has been warned over his future conduct as well as being suspended from all agency or intermediary activity for the next three months and receiving a £30,000 fine of his own (via Mirror).
Meanwhile, Arsenal have been fined £60,000 (€83,300) after breaching football agent regulations in the transfer of Calum Chambers from Southampton.
In the FA’s written reasons for the punishment, Craig Moore, Chairman of the Independent Regulatory Commission, said: “The breaches in this case were serious”.
Arsenal say they “acted in good faith” and that the FA recognised they had “no intention to mislead”.
‘We have improved our procedures to prevent this happening again’.
Middleton denied the initial charges, which have since been proven.
‘As a company we take our responsibilities extremely seriously and it was pleasing to see that the commission acknowledged that at all times we acted in the best interests of the player and cooperated fully with the commission’s investigation.

Chambers has made 25 Premier League appearances for Arsenal and played three times for the senior England national side since moving to the Emirates Stadium.
