Arsenal legend delivers a stern warning to new Liverpool star
Liverpool shelled out 35 million pounds on the Arsenal star, while the Ox agreed a five-year deal to stay at Anfield.

Oxlade-Chamberlain refused to sign a new contract with Arsenal and also rejected an opportunity to join Chelsea in favour of completing a move to the north of England with Liverpool.
‘That’s unless he plays out of position but I thought he went to Liverpool to play in central midfield, no? He’s saying that after an hour of training at Liverpool.
And while the winger is already considered one of England’s brighter prospects, Henderson believes Klopp is the type of manager who can get the very best out of the 24-year-old Oxlade-Chamberlain.
However, Merson is not convinced that Chamberlain will get the game time he craves, whilst also expecting City to beat Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium in Saturday’s early kick off.
But former Arsenal player Henry has criticised Oxlade-Chamberlain for his decision to leave the Emirates and questioned his motivations.
Wenger also said he didn’t believe the transfer speculation and possible tapping-up impacted Oxlade-Chamberlain in the heavy 4-0 defeat. Do you really think that not one French player or Dutch player had phone calls in the afternoon about a move or not?
‘I’ve spoken about this for about six years – my whole career – where I’m going to be playing or where I’d like to play, ‘ Oxlade-Chamberlain said. The kind of full-throttle football that the manager wants us to play, he’ll be a fantastic addition and give us options – which is something we didn’t have at stages last season. You have to bring something on the table.
Chamberlain could make his debut for Liverpool, but would likely have to displace one of Emre Can and Georginio Wijnaldum – two of the Reds’ best players in their 4-0 win over Arsenal in the last game before the worldwide break.

Liverpool, meanwhile, are set to travel to Manchester City as they look to continue their strong start to the new Premier League season.
