Arsenal overrun Chelsea for 45 minutes to win one-sided London derby
Branislav Ivanovic has said a lack of belief was to blame for Chelsea’s first-half capitulation at Arsenal on Saturday.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte said: “We didn’t have the right attitude from the kick-off”.
“But the past is the past, it’s all about now and this team is bright and young and has got a lot more experience in these games now”.
I think that it is always a team problem, not individual players. England skipper Rooney was limited to just a few minutes off the bench at the end of the match but Mourinho told Sky Sports: “Wayne Rooney is a big player for me, United and this country”.
The result made it three league games without a win for Chelsea, leaving them eighth.
“You know what, we’ve been here before”, he added. “Today we had a good performance”, said Wenger.
“I have to find the solution very, very soon because I think that we played a very bad game”.
“There are many difficulties but if we understand this we are in a good position to recover and to change the situation”.
His signing from Valencia was a protracted series of events, but at the moment the German looks like the centre-back Arsenal fans have been yearning for to partner Laurent Koscielny.
“After today we are thinking that we must work a lot because we are great team only on paper”.
“Coquelin has a knee injury in the same place he suffered one against West Brom previous year”, said Wenger.
It helped Chelsea stop the rot, but they never threatened to force their way back into the game and Courtois had to spread himself at his near post to prevent Walcott netting a second goal.
For Chelsea manager Conte, it was a third successive league game without victory following a 2-2 draw at Swansea City and a 2-1 home defeat by Liverpool.
“When we played Man United at home previous year it was fantastic, but I think it’s been quietly coming actually, to be honest with you”, he added.
Arsene Wenger has admitted he is anxious by Francis Coquelin’s knee injury after the energetic midfielder left the stadium in a brace.
Chelsea’s only real opportunity arrived in the 84th minute after substitution Michy Batshuayi was played in on goal but was unable to repeat Sanchez’s lobbed goal after Petr Cech did well to stand tall and deflect the ball away.
Chelsea’s defensive frailties were exposed as Antonio Conte’s team were left with one point from three league games in September.

“At the moment Manchester City look to be way in front but if we can maintain our performances. and be consistent we might have a chance”, he said.
