Arsenal’s Petr Cech crashes vehicle at Emirates after losing to Liverpool

Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech’s day went from bad to worse as he conceded four goals in a 4-3 defeat by Liverpool on Sunday before crashing his vehicle into a pillar.

Liverpool resumed the second half on fire as they scored two goals in quick succession.

“We are not ready”. “You’re in a catch-22 situation with the Euros, because you give the players a rest”.

“We prepared well the players we have in but I think you have to consider we have been a bit unlucky as well. Physically we are not ready”, Wenger told his post-match media conference. They are not ready to play this kind of game and get injured like Ramsey today.

It could have been [so much better] because I feel we had a great first half. At the back we lack a bit of maturity but you know that before we go into the game.

“Or you give them rest and start your season without many of your players”. We have to be ready next week because we go to Leicester.

We have to take it like that and prepare for the next game.

“We’ve lost Mertesacker and Gabriel in the preparation and Koscielny is not fit. You have to accept sometimes that you can not control absolutely everything, even if you try to be as intelligent as possible”.

There were brief doubts as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Calum Chambers reduced the deficit but Liverpool held out without further alarm for only their second win in 21 visits to the London club.

“Scoring four goals is wonderful, conceding three is the opposite of emotions”, Klopp said.

Manager Arsene Wenger, booed by supporters at the final whistle, said he was “working very hard to get one or two players in” before the transfer window closes on August 31.

Jurgen Klopp’s side hit back after an error-strewn first-half display which saw Simon Mignolet save Theo Walcott’s penalty before he was beaten by the Gunners winger. The second one is that physically we are not capable of maintaining the level, because not all the players have the same level of preparation.
