Arsenal’s Welbeck fit for Leicester, Mertesacker unlikely to start

The turnaround in fortunes is such that I heard a well-known football pundit suggest this week that if Leicester manage to win their match away to Arsenal this weekend, they could have the title wrapped up in time, before they face “difficult games” away to Manchester United and Chelsea in two of their three final games.

With no continental tournaments to worry about and having already been knocked out of the Capital One Cup and the FA Cup, many believe a less congested run-in could see Claudio Ranieri’s Leicester complete a most remarkable title success.

The contenders – Arsenal, Spurs and Man City, I think Even with 13-odd games to go, Man United are too far back and too inconsistent to challenge.

The Merseyside club performed a dramatic u-turn this week after supporters performed a mass walkout in response to the owners’ plan to increase prices.

Wenger said: “They are back running, they are on a fitness programme now so it means it is not a question of months anymore, it is a question of weeks for them to be back”.

“You want everybody there when the game starts”.

“The game of football is a moment of happiness in your life”. “How do you decide what is the right level of ticket prices?”

Last week he said that extra television revenue for top-flight clubs – which comes into effect next season – will be used to buy players rather than cut ticket prices. Life is not every day fantastic – sometimes it’s boring, sometimes it’s hard for many people.

“I don’t think we are on the same level ground as foreign clubs”, Wenger said, referring to the Premier League.

“After that, you want the ticket prices to be as comfortable as possible for our fans”.

It will be a significant moment when Wilshere and Cazorla are available again as they’ve been greatly missed over the past few months. Fans are of the opinion that with so much money coming into the club, they should not be charged extra for matchday tickets.
