The Spanish worldwide completed a move to Chelsea on Thursday in a £21.4m deal following several weeks of speculation linking him with a switch to Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho’s side are preparing for Sunday’s game at West Brom, where Pedro could make his debut.
It’s official. Chelsea have signed Pedro from Barcelona on a four-year deal.
Pedro’s agent says the negotiation with Chelsea was “like a lightning bolt”, suggesting “maybe Manchester United fell asleep”.
Pedro said on chelseafc.com: “I am very happy to be here”.
“He has won titles wherever he has been”.
“I think if we want Pedro, it was not any problem so because there was a clause in his contract so it was the most easy transfer”,
he added.
I can not speak about a Juventus player. Our job here is not to try to get a player that another club wants. I knew I would feel at home here and that was one of the main reasons why I chose to join. It’s an opportunity window to sometimes get players that you are not expected to get. “Every day I am updated by him and I trust him“.
“I am also impressed that Pedro has left a team that he loves, because it shows ambition”.
When United Vice Chairman Ed Woodward flew to Spain to seal the deal with Barcelona, sinister plots were afoot at the north-London club.
Last week, Van Gaal has told friends that he thinks Bale can be persuaded to leave Real Madrid at some stage and join the Red Devils.
Unlike many of his peers, Mourinho also backed the transfer window starting after the Premier League season had begun.
“While the window is open there is always an opportunity”. United quickly moved to distance themselves and publicly dropped their interest at around the same time Chelsea had broken through in the talks.
He is nevertheless delighted to have given Chelsea an extra attacking option and has already been impressed with Pedro’s attitude.
“I don’t speak about players from other clubs, especially when the championship is on”, he said.
The Dutchman continued, “I am very happy for Depay as he needs that”. I do everything possible to win.

He said he did not want to “interfere” regarding the club’s reported interest in the 23-year-old Senegalese, adding: “I cannot answer that question [on transfers], because then I interfere and I don’t want to interfere”.
