According to reports in France through media outlet Le 10 Sport, Klopp would be willing to splash out on Lacazette if current Reds striker Christian Benteke completes his big-money move to Crystal Palace this summer.

Should the Belgium global make the move to South London in the coming weeks, Jurgen Klopp will reportedly enter the race to sign Lacazette.

A report from The Mirror says the Gunners are looking into a deal for Lacazette, who has a £34m escape clause in his Lyon contract. The 23-year-old striker scored just two goals and was criticised for his performance during Belgium’s defeat to Wales.

Arsenal are widely believed to be on the lookout for a new striker in the summer transfer window, and Wenger has already appeared to indicate his desire to sign a new attacker with the club’s failed bid to sign Jamie Vardy from Leicester City.
