Arsene Wenger: Arsenal Were Not Sharp Enough to Beat Norwich City
Bellerin told Arsenal Player: “The conditions weren’t the best but Norwich are a well-organised team who were very solid at the back and unsafe on the counter”.

“I’m not a coach and I don’t know how it is”.
The result meant Wenger’s side missed out on the chance to draw level on points with Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.
“There have been games here this year where we’ve been disappointed that we’ve lost”, he said.
Arsenal can still qualify for the the knockout stages if they beat Olympiakos by two clear goals, or match the 3-2 margin they played in their first encounter at the Emirates.
Wenger insisted he did not regret playing Sanchez, saying: “The players are there to play football, not to be rested when the press decide they need to be rested”.
– Arsenal average just 1.59 points per game in November under Arsene Wenger in the Premier League, their worst month.
After the match, Wenger confirmed that Laurent Koscielny, who was substituted in the first half, and Santi Cazorla had also picked up injuries.
Norwich City held Arsenal to a 1-1 draw on Sunday in a game which saw both Alexis Sanchez and Laurent Koscielny forced off with injury.
“He [Sanchez] says it is a kick on his hamstring”, said Wenger (as quoted by the club’s official website).
It had started so well for Wenger and his players, the Koscielny injury aside, taking a deserved lead through the in-form Mesut Ozil only to be pegged back by a Lewis Grabban equaliser before the sides played out a topsy-turvy goalless second half.
In the first half he got a kick on the knee and it got worse. The worrying thing is it got worse during the game. You need to go out and say nothing or, “I’m resting you today and that’s the way it is”. He is the strongest player I have been up against.
“When there are alarming signs, we want to make the right decision at the right moment but as long as the guys are confident, they score goals – it is always hard to rest them”.
Norwich City goalkeeper, John Ruddy, gave the ball away to Alexis Sanchez who laid it for Ozil to slot home from inside the area.

Ramsey continued: “It was obviously a bit disappointing to go a goal up and to concede that goal was a bit disappointing from our view, but to be fair they did well and they deserved to get a point out of the game”.
