Arsene Wenger desperate to bring former Man United striker to Arsenal
Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson believes that Manchester United’s Anthony Martial is a better player than Javier Hernandez.

“Van Gaal told me I had only one per cent chance of playing for Manchester United giving me no option but to leave for Bayer Leverkusen who were ready to sign me”, Hernandez is quoted by Daily Mail as saying.
The Dutchman has serious doubts over whether Hernandez could cut it at the top level despite United being short of firepower up front. The manager also allowed Danny Welbeck to move to Arsenal in September previous year, while Robin van Persie left for Fenerbahce in the summer.
That was a feeling seemingly echoed by Ferdinand, who wrote the following on Twitter in acknowledgement of Hernandez’s recent achievements: “Hate to say it, I told you all Chicharito would score if given (a) run of games”. He has now scored 18 goals for his club, and has scored 16 goals in his last 13 games in all competitions.
While United have struggled for goals this season, Hernández has been re-energised in Germany. I had an incredible start, full of opportunities, although those opportunities dwindled over time and things took a turn for the worse.

“I’m so grateful to Ferguson”. Every player had his place. “He opened the door to Europe for me and I won two league titles there”.
