“I will be busy that is for sure”.
The Arsenal manager has always found it unusual when fans and media got on Ozil’s back in the player’s first two seasons in England, following a move from Madrid for 42 million pounds ($70 million).
“He has been himself from day one that we met him to how he is now”, Smalling added. The Egyptian was signed from Swiss side FC Basel for a fee believed to be in the region of 5 million Euros, which could rise to 7 million.
Arsene Wenger admits he expects to be busy throughout the January transfer window as he looks to recruit players who can help keep his Arsenal side top of the table.
Wenger indicated France worldwide defender Mathieu Debuchy could be on his way out after being sidelined this season by injury and the emergence of youngster Hector Bellerin.
Van Gaal has endured a hard second season at United, with the club sitting five points off the top four at the midway point of the 2015-16 Premier League campaign. I am very, very happy with his performances.
United have lost five times in the league, and were knocked out in the Champions League group stages last month.
“I am confident we will fight to stay there”, said Wenger of the Premier League battle.
