Arsene Wenger hits back at Coleman’s Ramsey claims
On Arsenal’s Champions League group, Wenger said in a press conference: “We got basically what we expected”.

Wenger also gave injury updates on Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud who are both still trying to regain full match fitness.
“Make I talk the true, na football be my life, and I never know how my life go be if I retire and the thing sef don dey make cold dey catch me for body. Giroud is still a little bit behind physically”.
Santi Cazorla played in Ozil’s normal playmaker role against Leicester but could drop into a deeper role – possibly alongside new signing Granit Xhaka – if the Germany worldwide returns.
The Welsh worldwide picked up a hamstring injury and will miss Wales’ games during the Interlull, but the Arsenal manager said Ramey’s preparation was sufficient for him to play in the first game.
But Wenger said Wales star Ramsey had had the chance to take more rest because he missed his country’s Euro 2016 semifinal through suspension.
“Because he didn’t play the final, or semi-final, or quarter-final, so he was out two weeks before Giroud and Ozil, and he did all the preparation”, he said. “And he had the needed preparation time”.
“We have a lot of players to come back in, and it was a good point last weekend away to the reigning champions”, the Sport Director at Chinese Super League club Chongqing Lifan FC added.
“We need a first win after our game at Leicester”.
