Arsene Wenger: Pogba’s £100million move to Man United completely insane
Van Gaal was always quick to lower expectations during his two-year stint at Old Trafford, suggesting the club were not in a position to challenge for the title. “That is for sure”, Wenger told the Daily Mail.

Former Manchester United striker Diego Forlan believes Paul Pogba is worth £100million, but thinks Paul Scholes would have fetched even more if he were playing today.
Paul Pogba is “inching closer” to joining Manchester United this summer, according to Sky Sports News HQ.
“We have a game against Leicester next week (Community Shield) and we have the Premier League in a couple of weeks”.
“I felt we had a good squad, a lot of ability, a lot of talent”, he said.
Arsene Wenger has called Paul Pogba’s expected £100 million transfer to Manchester United “completely insane”. “I am 100 per cent convinced that Schweinsteiger will not return to Germany”, Rummenigge said of the player, who was left out of Saturday’s friendly win over Galatasaray in Sweden.
He will form part of a strengthened United attacking unit that now also features Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Does it make sense in the way the player can give you that investment back? It could have either been a “knee in your side” or he would “bump into you” but Rooney feels that he didn’t think Pogba “meant to do it”. Just go next to him and you’d find an elbow or some other sharp bit. Not at length about how we’re going to play or my role, but he seems very excited about the job and he’ll have his own way of doing it.

‘We have done a number of double training sessions, but I am not anxious about them being exhausted on Saturday as the reality is we have to work and are looking at the game tomorrow as one more training session because the players need minutes’.
