Arsene Wenger reveals big plans for Arsenal midfield star
Arsenal’s Granit Xhaka applauds fans after the game against Paris Saint Germain, September 14, 2016.

Arsene Wenger is confident Granit Xhaka will be a regular member of the Arsenal starting XI sooner rather than later.
Arsenal’s good result away to PSG in midweek somewhat masks the fact that they were battered for the first half of the game and should never have been able to nick a point in the first place.
“David still has a long career [to come], and right now I think it is great because that competition is going to make him get better”. He has the engine to have an impact with his runs.
“Walcott could be back in the squad”.
Arsenal Expected XI (4-3-3): Cech (GK); Bellerin, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal; Coquelin, Cazorla, Ozil; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Sanchez, Perez. Although it could take time for Lucas to settle in, Giroud is in danger of being put on the backfoot and he should be wary that given he gets plenty of critics as he is, then being unfit as well is sure to anger a few more faces. “He will do that without any problem”.
Wenger is unsure about the availability of Theo Walcott for the weekend visit to the KC Stadium and revealed Olivier Giroud sustained a toe injury before being sent off shortly after coming on against PSG.
Arsenal made a slow start to the season, losing at home to Liverpool and drawing at Leicester City, but they have won their last two games against Watford and Southampton.
Aaron Ramsey is not fit, recovering from a hamstring injury suffered in August, but Gabriel Paulista has returned to training, although he won’t be selected being short of match fitness.
Hull have impressed so far this season, securing seven points from four games despite the hard circumstances they have been working in.
“It’s a case now of sifting through the offer and getting down to what hopefully will be further discussions”, the club’s former assistant manager told BBC Radio Humberside.

Wenger admits he is taking his time with the 23-year-old, as he knows just how big an asset he could prove to be for the club. He has done really well. “He’s a real football man who has given some stability to Hull”.
