Arsene Wenger says Louis Van Gaal treatment unfair
Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal reacted to being under extreme pressure as his team prepare to face Stoke City at the Brtiannia Stadium on Saturday.

This has not been a good season for Louis Van Gaal and Manchester United.
Quizzed about the speculation by reporters at his weekly press conference ahead of Saturday’s trip to Stoke, Van Gaal quickly became irritated and it was less than five minutes before he decided he had had enough.
Speaking at the press conference, as reported by manutd.com, Van Gaal said: “I want to say only that I have tried to lift the confidence of my players”.
Former Liverpool star Jamie Carragher believes sacked Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho is not fit for Manchester United, although France and Arsenal great Thierry Henry thinks the Portuguese tactician “can be the ideal fit” for the English football giants.
In modern football, time is a precious comodity for managers, and after the amounts of money that Van Gaal has spent on players of sub-par quality, it is no surprise that many are baying for his head.
Van Gaal, who has overseen just three victories in United’s last 13 games in all competitions, only answered three questions from the broadcast media and then refused to take any questions from the written press.
“I held meetings, evaluation meetings with players and members of staff. I held a Christmas lunch, I held a speech and I feel the warmth and support of everyone in Carrington, the Aon Training Complex”.
“Van Gaal continued: “(I have read) my (former) colleague (Mourinho) was here already.
“There isn’t an official proposal either”, Mendes said, which is true as Van Gaal is still the manager, and by offering another manager the job would be very disrespectful while he is there. What do you think that happens with my wife?
“So you think that I want to talk with the media now”.
The former Bayern Munich manager said his family and friends had been adversely affected by the criticism and claimed he had been contacted by former manager Alex Ferguson, executive vice chairman Ed Woodward and director David Gill recently about the matter.

Last weekend, after Norwich City followed Wolfsburg and Bournemouth to condemn United to a third straight defeat, Van Gaal sounded like his team – stuck in a rut. Or with my grandchildren? Or with fans of Manchester United?
