Swamy was speaking on the second and concluding day of a seminar titled “Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi Temple: Emerging Scenario” organised amid tight security at Delhi University’s Arts Faculty by Arundhati Vashishtha Anusandhan Peeth (AVAP), a research organisation founded by late VHP leader Ashok Singhal. He will respect their emotions. He is aware people who are pushing for the temple are also responsible for his victory as well as those who want development. It even appealed to Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and vice-president Rahul Gandhi to support the bill in the House. He can be there (in power) for 10-15 years only when he is able to deliver on the core issue. Jain said a delegation of saints will also meet Modi over the temple issue. He once launched his election campaign from Ayodhya, promising “Ram Rajya” across the country. So, how come she will not fulfill will of her husband? He said that one or other election is always around but that does not mean they should not work for it. Then you will say it is for the Lok Sabha elections.

Members of the National Students Union of India (NSUI), students’ wing of the Congress, on Saturday staged protest outside the venue of a seminar to be addressed by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy, reports said.
BJP leader Subramanian Swamy stirred up the hornets’ nest in Delhi University on Saturday holding a seminar on “the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya”.
He expressed confidence that the final verdict by the Supreme Court will pave the way for construction of a temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya.
Attacking BJP over the seminar, the Aam Aadmi Party said the move was aimed at the 2017 Assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh.

He said in Ayodhya, another mosque can be built near the Sarayu river but added that it should not be named after Babur.
