As Trump wins, Clinton exploring how to win Republicans

Bernie Sanders had never been a member of the Democratic Party until the 2016 election cycle. “The Republican Establishment would vote for David Duke or Hitler over Hillary Clinton if either was the party nominee”, he wrote.

On Wednesday, CNN reported that Bernie Sanders’ campaign manager dismissed concerns about the substantial hurdle Sanders is now facing. Though he agreed that he faced an “uphill climb” to the Democratic nomination, he affirmed that he was “in this campaign to win and we are going to fight until the last vote is cast”.

Amazingly, Donald Trump’s victory and Hillary’s loss in IN means the Republican party will begin consolidating behind its nominee months before Democrats can do the same.

The primaries will drag on for another month, with California and a few other states effectively wrapping up each race on June 7. The Huffington Post published the headline, “Hillary Clinton Should Concede to Bernie Sanders Before the FBI Reveals its Findings”.

Asked about this comment, Sanders was similar to Clinton’s point of view.

As for Sanders, “I still don’t know that much about him”, she said. I doubt, however, that “reject the will of the people” will work well as a new Sanders’ campaign slogan.

A very narrow path: He would need 65 percent of all remaining pledged delegates for a pledged majority and 82 percent of all delegates – including remaining superdelegates – to pull past Clinton overall, according to NPR’s Domenico Montanaro.

“The GOP is going to nominate for President a guy who reads the National Enquirer and thinks it’s on the level”.

A day earlier, Trump had criticised her husband and former United States president Bill Clinton for signing NAFTA trade deal. If she won by such a margin, her victory would be at least as convincing as Mr Obama’s in 2008. Without superdelegates, Hillary is still 678 delegates away from clinching the nomination. It was a hard-fought win for her.

Longtime Clinton aide Marlon Marshall will run the campaign’s battleground team out of the Brooklyn headquarters as director of states and political engagement. “She’s the one that started it, she brought it up years before it was brought up by me”. The New York Times gave preference to Trump and pushed the story of Sanders win below John Kasich news.

But these unfavorability ratings show the major difficulty that both Clinton and Trump would face in November: enthusiasm.

“Look, my candidacy, what we call the political revolution, has energized millions and millions of people – working people, young people”, Sanders said.

Democratic presidential candidate, Sen.

Donald Trump now seems to be shifting focus from fellow republicans to democrats.

It’s true that the convention probably will be contested, but that is because Sanders will contest it. Fifteen percent of all Democratic delegates are superdelegates, so any candidate needs about an 18 percent lead in the elected delegate count by the end of the primary voting season to avoid relying on some superdelegates.

Sanders also told reporters Tuesday night he has “zero doubt” his campaign has been good for the Democratic Party and will result in higher turnout in November.

Talk of a contested convention was also raging on the Republican side in recent weeks, with Sen.
