Compared to more sedate virtual assistants like Google Now, Siri has always had a reputation for snark – whether it’s answering every annoying hypothetical question we can throw at it with equally sarcastic answers, or getting amusingly annoyed when we confuse him/her with rival AI assistants.
If you’ve got an iPhone to hand, try it now.
Ask ‘what is zero divided by zero?’ and prepare to feel crushed by the demoralising answer.
Siri: “Just do not breathe on me.” You: “Are you Her?”
It’s not clear who first discovered it, but the question caught on Monday night after Vine star Lauren Giraldo, YouTube star Troye Sivan and “Breaking Bad” actor Aaron Paul excitedly tweeted about it. Siri will occasionally provide a hilarious response to your questions.
Siri: “I don’t understand what you mean by ‘naked.’ Or at least I’m going to pretend that I don’t”. [Referencing the movie] Siri: “I’m afraid not [your name], but she could never know you better than I do”.
You’d be pretty upset if your phone said you had no friends, wouldn’t you?
Siri: “Maybe a tauntaun”.
