Assam HSLC examination is also known as the Matric exams. Assam HSLC results are declared on 31st May 2016.

Sarfaraz Hussain of Betkuchi High School centre, Guwahati, and Abu Sofian of Chapar Madrassa HS School, Dhubri, topped the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Assam High Madrassa (AHM) examinations 2016, respectively, the results of which were declared today. Reports have also hinted that SEBA chairman Shri Dhandev Mahanta graced the declaration function and press meet organized for the declaration of Assam HSLC / AHM Results 2016.
The Assam HSLC Examination for SEBA HSLC Results 2016, Assam HSLC Result 2016, SEBA 10th Result 2016 was held from February 18-March 09, 2016. It started functioning with the conduct of 11 year H.S.S.L.C. Examination of 1962.
The Assam HSLC 2016 Results will appear on the screen. Now, they can check their results at their respective schools or online on the official site of SEB. The result is available from 11 am onwards. The fire engulfed those sheets at an evaluation center located in Jorhat in Assam on March 3. The state government ordered a CID inquiry into the incident.
