Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Delayed To November On PC

With horror stories like Batman: Arkham Knight showing just how much of a failure some games companies have had on the PC, another disaster is obviously something we don’t want.

Ubisoft announced today that the PC version is being pushed back a little bit. “We promise. Please buy it”. Unlike most of the previous Assassin’s Creed games that have been released over the years, this one will not be accompanied by a multiplayer mode, Ubisoft has confirmed. Until then, they have to lurk in the shadows, waiting for their opportunity to strike. The development team are targeting 1080p and 30 FPS for recommended system requirements, but say there will be no locks on framerate and resolution.

It’s unclear whether Dickens and Darwin will play any other role in the core narrative of the video game. As you should already know, Dickens (“A Tale of Two Cities”, “Great Expectations”) is one of history’s greatest novelists and Darwin produced the theory of evolution.

The game has the brother and sister pair of Jacob and Evie Frye as the protagonists. The game offered a huge open-world, three large cities to explore, and the freedom to tackle quests any way the player saw fit. I guess it’s an incentive, if you aren’t already holding off after being burnt by AC Unity. And Syndicate isn’t going to be any different, with new information on the pre-order bonus on the way for early adopters.
