Starting off three days of talks with fellow European leaders on the EU’s way forward, Merkel suggested there’s no advantage in pressing Prime Minister Theresa May’s government for now because the EU can’t negotiate new relations until the United Kingdom government’s position is clear.

In his discussion with Merkel, he called the project “a possible joint European army”.
Merkel is touring eastern Europe to canvass opinion among European Union governments in preparation for a summit of all 28 leaders except U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May in Bratislava on September 16.
“We must give priority to security and so let’s start setting up a joint European army”, Orban said.
Sobotka said on Thursday that more European security and defence cooperation, in addition to North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, was a priority given the need to protect external borders of the EU and to respond to growing security threats, for instance from the Middle East.
Migration policy is another highly controversial issue on the agenda, with eastern members the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia refusing to take in refugees under an EU-wide quota system championed by Berlin. The remaining European Union countries have enough topics to discuss among themselves to “allow the time that Britain wants to take to figure out what relationship it wants with the European Union”.
Speaking at a press conference before the summit, Orbán said Europe failed to learn a lesson from the financial crisis and has no proper adaptive response to migration, terrorism, or to European issues outside the EU, such as Ukraine.

Finally the group gave a signal to the youth of Europe who may also be tired of the mass migration policies of the establishment calling for them to defend themselves through peaceful action against mass migration, increasing Islamisation and governments who they say break the rules and the laws whenever it suits them.
