Astonishing Trailers For New Seasons Of The Flash And Arrow Arrive
A video giving the fans a first look at “Arrow” Season 5 has been released online. Though they seem incapable at first, they’ve got some surprise tricks up their sleeve for Oliver. There was no trailer featured for the second season of “Supergirl”, soon to be on the CW as well, but that might be coming shortly considering it does premiere the same time as all the other shows.

The CW will be practically poxy with DC Comics-based superhero shows this fall, and on Saturday at the 2016 Comic-Con International in San Diego, there was a quartet of panels to catch everyone up on what’s going on when the shows return.
Over on “Arrow”, Oliver and Felicity put together a new team of heroes to help them defeat the new big bad, Prometheus (not to be confused with the Prometheus from the “Justice League” stories). The third season was a lot more uneven with some total dud moments mixed with some awesomeness, and also setting up the fun Legends of Tomorrow spinoff.
Additionally, Cassidy is not exactly leaving the Arrowverse, and will appear in at least the Season 5 premiere episode of “Arrow”, cast and crew announced during the show’s panel.
While Oliver will keep busy training the newbies, Felicity will be working through her guilt. The episode will also reveal what Laurel made Oliver promise in her deathbed.
Warner Bros. confirmed that Katie Cassidy has signed a contract to make regular appearances across all of DC’s shared universe. She’s going to work through them, I think we’re going to do it quite honestly. They remained amicable, and Season 4 ended with just the two of them standing as a united front in the Arrow bunker – refusing to abandon one another and Star City again. “Trying not to let your emotions override the goal at hand, I think, is always hard”.
Even so, Amell admitted that despite being mayor-elect, Oliver isn’t so great at holding political office. Still no additional details on Carly Pope’s Susan Williams, a reporter who has a hunch about Oliver, or District Attorney Adrian Chase, another Star City vigilante named, The Vigilante.

For more details on the new season, we’ll have to wait for October 5, when Arrow returns to The CW!
