Astronaut Accidentally Called the Wrong Number… from Space
United Kingdom astronaut Tim Peake has tweeted a light-hearted apology after dialling a wrong number from space and saying to a woman on the other end of the line: “Hello, is this planet Earth?”, according to the BBC.

Peake, who boarded the space station less than two weeks ago, wrote on Twitter late Thursday night saying that he had been trying to call his family.
Another tweet from Peake said Santa Claus made it to the ISS, showing a picture of a Santa hat and a red stocking.
Anyone can dial a wrong number, but it’s not often done from outer space.
“The 43-year-old, who is spending six months conducting scientific experiments on the station, has been unlucky with calls to the Earth and had earlier got his parents” answering machine when he tried to wish them a Merry Christmas.
Since he’s Britain’s first publicly funded astronaut and the first Briton to visit the space station, millions of Britons have been following his mission closely.
He is expected to fly over London at some point during Christmas Day.
